Video recorded on a digital camera smaller?

how do you make a video recorded on a digital camera smaller in order to send in an email??

I made a video of me and my son thats only about a minute long for my husband in Iraq and really want to send it to him but it takes to long to load on the email because my camera takes big videos... is there anyway to shrink it down??

You Need A Video Processing Program (QuickTime Pro (Apple-$29.99) Or Windows Media Or NERO? Or Adaptec EZ Media Creator) And You Need To EXPORT The Video To MPEG-4 This SHOULD Make The File Small Enough For E-Mail. (If Not Use The Program To Change The Video Size (Dimentions) To 320X 240) Then MPEG-4

Good-Luck!!

What are you using to edit the videos? Typically, they have an export or "Save As" function that will compress the video (and reduce the video quality) so you can reduce the size of the video.

Since you have not told us the camcorder manufacturer and model or computer or video editor or any other technical details, there is no way to provide you any sort of guidance.
